Here’s my rendition of this little known instrumental gem “In the Heartland“, by Mark Knopfler, from the soundtrack of the 1998 movie “Wag the Dog”.

The piece is written in E using Open G tuning, with the capo on the second fret. The arrangement is classic fingerpicking, using an alternate bass.
